As a life long summer resident of Peters Pond and current full time resident of Sandwich, I am excited to be the founder and president of this environmental group. It gives me great pride to work with our community to pursue the important mission of pond health for Peters Pond and all the freshwater ponds on Cape Cod.
Vice President: Sue Carrai

I fell in love with Peter’s Pond in 1960. I was lucky to spend summers on the pond and now I am a permanent resident. I am proud and grateful to serve on this committee and work to educate myself and others on how to keep our beautiful pond as clean as it was in 1960.
Treasurer: Jeff Payne

A 40-yr resident of Forestdale with many memories of my children swimming, skiing, wakeboarding on Mashpee/Wakeby, Snake and Peters Pond, our family saw the critical need to keep the pristine beauty we have been so gifted with. My background includes contracts management work on Joint Base Cape Cod for the National Guard. I am honored to be a part of FOPP which keeps us all apprised of current events and negative impacts on the Cape's environment.
Secretary: Judy Abril

Born and raised in Hyannis, I moved to Sandwich near Peters Pond in 1985 to raise my family. I love Cape Cod. It's truly a unique and beautiful place and it's important to take care of it. However I can help, it's what I'd like to do!

As a third generation summer resident of our cottage community, our family has been blessed with a lifetime of wonderful memories here on Peters Pond. I look forward to being part of the "Friends of Peters Pond" group who proudly serve to protect the health and wellbeing of Peters Pond.

My husband and I started camping on Peters Pond in 1976 when the now Oakcrest area was owned by HP. We used to canoe around Peters Pond with our kids and thought how lucky the people living on Peters Pond were. After HP sold the campsite to Sandwich we moved on to Peters Pond Campground. The last day of our vacation in June 2007 we were told about a house for sale on Peters Pond. The rest is history and we have been on the pond ever since . Now our grandson is also enjoying it !

Peters Pond is part of my heart and soul. I have been camping on Peters Pond since marrying my wife and then bringing our children. We have many pictures of our kids swimming in Peters Pond. Now we have pictures of our grandson swimming in the crystal clear water of Peters Pond. My hope is that many generations more will be able to have the same family fun as we did.

Originally from upstate New York, I met my husband on Cape Cod and it became a special place for us. When the cottage next door to our friends became available, we jumped at the chance to join the Pimlico Pond community. Over the past 50 years, our family has made wonderful memories of swimming, fishing kayaking and so much more. Pimlico Pond is a magical place for us, and preserving it for generations to come is paramount!

My history with Pimlico Pond begins in the summer of 1955. My father was working at Otis Air Force base. It was sweltering hot and he and his buddies needed a cool place to swim. They found Pimlico Pond and what a find it was! My family soon bought a cottage and a lot of land. We are now on our 5th generation enjoying this beautiful, peaceful paradise. For us, this pond is sacred. We will do whatever it takes to preserve this precious paradise for future generations.
